The cute little dog, Misty, had a difficult past before she was rescued, with wounds on her nose, a skin ailment, and underweight with her ribs showing. Misty’s microchip was located, but when the number was called, they were informed she had been rehomed years before.

Abandoning an animal is considered a felony in England, so an inquiry was launched. Misty was cared for at the shelter and was healing well under their care.

In June, Misty was up for adoption and found her forever home with a couple. Her new mother shared a picture and update on Misty, who had settled down well and was adorable.
