Once upon a time there was a young girl named Willow who found herself without a permanent home. She was deemed unadoptable by orphanages due to her unique physical features, leaving her with no hope of finding a loving family.
On that particular night, Lori Farris, who is a 50-year-old woman, was on her way back home from a center focused on helping visually impaired and blind children. As she was walking, she realized that a small kitten had started following her. Despite being very tiny and covered in dirt, the little kitten had blood on its nose and an inflamed eye due to an infection. Despite its condition, the determined kitten kept following Lori, making her heart fill with emotion. Eventually, she decided to take the kitten with her and show it to the nearest veterinarian for treatment.
The guy clarified that the little one is a female kitten and, while she’s technically healthy, there are some concerns. Besides the obvious issues, the cat was also dealing with a severe flea and intestinal parasite infestation. After a thorough cleaning, they discovered that her nose is completely flat and fluffy. The vet suggested against surrendering the cat to a shelter since they tend to euthanize “defective” ones like her because they’re not as desirable.
Lori didn’t hesitate to adopt the adorable kitten and gave her the name Willow, according to an article in Metro. After nursing the feline back to health, Lori started taking cute photos and filming amusing videos with Willow, which she shared on various social media platforms. To Lori’s astonishment, Willow quickly became an internet sensation, amassing 254,000 followers and 3.7 million likes on TikTok. Fans were enchanted by the delightful posts and left countless comments expressing their admiration.
