Conan will not have to experience the dangers and deprivations of wandering. This cat is one of thousands trying to survive on the streets of Manila who were adopted by a local security company.
There are a dozen felines accompanying the agents who guard the Worldwide Corporate Center business center in the capital of the Philippines, reports Channel News Asia .

These men are, in fact, subjected to continuous stress during their 12 hours of daily service. The presence of these quadrupeds allows them to escape for a short time and to have a source of motivation.

Conan was only a little kitten a few weeks old when a cleaning lady rescued him. He was desperately alone and meowing in the parking lot of the building.
At that time, the security guards at the Worldwide Corporate Center had just lost their previous feline companion. Called Mingming , he suffered from a severe form of gingivitis which, unfortunately, precipitated his death.
When they were introduced to Conan , they unanimously chose him as Mingming ‘s successor .
Laura , Shangki and the other cats enjoying the same status as Conan are just as appreciated by the employees, who regularly contribute to buy them food and everything necessary for their well-being.
“ If Conan is not there, I am not motivated ,” confides Aljon Aquino , 30, to AFP . It relieves me of stress .”
